BSMHD 2006 Annual Conference

Mental Health Services for Deaf People: No longer an option?

Programme

Serving TEA in the North East. A medley of presentations from deaf organisations and healthcare organisations involved in a collaborative approach to developing mental health services for deaf people in the North-East, led by Joyce Pennington, Community Psychiatric Nurse, Newcastle, North Tyneside And Northumberland Mental Health NHS Trust.

Towards Equity and Access . To promote the implementation of the recommendations in the Towards Equity and Access Report the Department of Health have established the TEA Implementation Panel and commissioned a number of National Initiatives. A report on progress made by the TEA Panel and the projects:
