The Whitepost Health Care Group is a privately owned company, established in 1986. We specialise in the sympathetic and respectful care of the elderly, elderly and mentally frail, and those suffering from early or advanced Alzheimer's. We also provide high dependency general nursing, i.e., peritoneal dialysis, peg feeding, post-operative convalescence, high-dependency mental nursing, Mental Health Care under Mental Health Act 1983, rehabilitation care of the mentally ill, and care of the deaf with enduring mental illness. Our Nursing Homes are based in the Surrey and Kent areas. Additionally, we provide Nurse Training and NMC Adaptation Training as part of our ongoing commitment to achieving the highest possible standards of excellence in the treatment of Physical and Mental Illness. Lavender Place provides services for the deaf who suffer from enduring mental illness. In May 2001 the Centre opened Lavender Place with a commitment to serve a wide spectrum of needs for people who are deaf and suffer from enduring mental illness. Some of these clients are also detained under the Mental Health act 1983. Lavender Place is situated on the ground floor of Shrewsbury Court. The unit comprises of seven individually designed rooms for clients who have their own dining room, activities room and a lounge. We have taken specialists' advice while preparing this unit so that the special personal care as well as the safety needs of these clients are fully met. An intensive programme to learn Sign Language by all the key members of the care and the administrative teams are in progress. Lavender Place is located in Redhill, Surrey. |
