Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health affects us all. How we think and feel about ourselves and our lives affects our behaviour and how we cope in tough times.

Deaf trainer Susan from the British Society for Mental Health and Deafness (BSMHD) will run a course in BSL/SSE where you will learn:

  • What is Mental Health?
  • Understanding different mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, personality disorders.
  • Helping someone in crisis to cope the proper way
  • What is ALGEE ?

At the end of the course you will get a coursebook and certificate of attendance!

Cost is FREE for GDA Members. For others, please contact BSMHD by email.

VLP and ASLI Members will be awarded CPD Points.
