Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Training at Reading University

A unique opportunity has arisen for 2 hearing, fluent BSL users to train to become a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs). The training will be for 1 yr and will be working in the Deaf community in the Thames Valley area (Berks, Bucks and Oxfordshire). The course is 1 day/week with the remainder of the time shadowing other PWPs, completing assignments and promoting the service in the local Deaf community.

The post is with SignHealth and supervision will be provided through current staff of BSL Healthy Minds.

The course commences on the 21 April, 2015 should any candidate have and interpreting work commitments on going these will be honoured in the short term but please discuss and arrange beforehand.
